Many of our junior players have had a busy summer between playing for TIDE and representing BC as part of the BC Bears. These players have come through our youth program and we are so proud of their success.
It all starts with an idea, a vision, and club member and long time Bay, Glenn Barlow, certainly came through with a winner in the form of a community event that featured spot prawns, fiddle music, and rugby.

Last Saturday, after the long trek up island to Cumberland, our Women’s team revisted the pitch where our season started, against a team that beat us in our first game as part of our newly re-formed senior women’s program.
On November 11th, we pause and take time to thank those that have served, and continue to serve, in our armed forces and to remember those that lost their lives in service of our country, our beliefs, our democracy.
This Saturday at Westshore - at 11:00 on the fields at Juan de Fuca - all four island clubs will be mixing and matching players to fill positions. Lots of spares. Looks like XVs Canada-Chile after at Westhills (wait a minute it's Starlight now, why do they always change their names out there?)
James Bay Athletic Association is pleased to announce the commitment of former player and coach, Jen Ross, to fill the position of head coach of our Sr. Women’s team.
This past week a few of the club elders convened, along with players from our female program, and joined by Linda Gower to present the new Gower Scholarships.
