Thanks to all involved who made our inaugural JBAA Family Bay Day, held on October 17th, a success.
The weather did not deter spirits on the day and a big thank you goes out to the JBAA volunteers who coached, refereed, cooked food, sold gear and made the day come together. A special shout out and thank you goes out to ALL of the JBAA mini and youth players and their parents for their efforts on the field. JBAA rugby is well positioned for the future with the amount of talented youth players in our club and their skills were on full display Sunday.
We hosted six youth games with both girls and boys games at the U15, U17 and U19 levels, our U7s and U9s were put through their paces by their engaged coaches and the U11s and U13s got to work with our Premier Men’s and Women’s coaches and players. We went through a few hundred hot dogs and sold a few boxes of JBAA gear. Players and parents were able to see the pathway for the athletes from the U7 level right up to U19s, and we got to see some old JBAA faces along the sidelines.
Thank you to all and we look forward to our next JBAA Family Bay Day in the spring of 2022.
