Another report from Phil Meyer with the following: “This report came out in 2014, a couple of weeks before our Rounsfell Cup second-in-a-row win over Burnaby.”
Again from Phil Meyer with the following message: “At least 10 years old – hence somewhat dated. Produced at the insistence of Benj O’Connor, who was getting to the stage when he had little or no idea who Huddy Huddy was talking about in our game reports.”
More from Phil Meyer’s Vault, this one from sometime between 2003 and 2007 - probably 2006. We’ve edited a few portions, especially regarding the Scottish and Oak Bay.
Given no more rugby, Phil Meyer suggested we share some Huddy Huddy reports from the JBAA archives. We’ll be posting a ‘retrospective’ every Sunday courtesy Phil.
Yesterday evening hundreds gathered for “Bays’ BIG NIGHT” at the JBAA Clubhouse. The fundraiser for our Youth Development Program was a massive success.
It is again time to remember club-mates who served – and some who died – protecting our freedom. (Excerpts from JBAA: The First 100 Years, written by Lew Madley).
