Rucking around the Christmas Tree

A message from our President:

JBAA members and supporters, Christmas is two weeks away and still JBAA has teams in the trenches aiming to win Island Championships.

On Sunday at Cowichan Rugby Club youth teams from up and down the Island will be competing for Championship titles.

Our U14 Girls will go for Gold against Westshore kicking off at 12:10 in Cowichan.

And later in the day our U-17 boys will face the Castaway Wanderers in their final. Game time is 12:50.

In the meantime over at Windsor Park the U15 boys teams from CW, Cowichan and JBAA will mix and match and play a number of games in the true spirit of rugby. A chance to run with the ball, make new friends and enjoy the fresh air. They start playing at 11:30. Full value to CW for helping to get this going. Players will have Pizza and drinks afterwards.

If you have ordered from our Christmas Poinsettia Fundraiser, you can pick up your order today (Friday, December 10th) between 5 and 8 pm. It's "Pintsetta" so feel free to have some Christmas Cheer as well. Pintsetta Celebrations continue on Saturday. Orders are available for pick up from Noon to 5 pm. From noon on you can also help yourself to a free bowl of Chili, plus the bar will be open. At 4 pm, Christmas Ham and other treats will be available for Pintsetta folks and club members (players, supporters and all those wonderful coaches).

AND CHRISTMAS TREES!

Our Annual Christmas Tree sale starts Saturday morning at 10 am and goes until 4 pm.

We will also be open Sunday with Sales starting at 10 AM and going until 4 pm.

Support the club, buy a tree, have a pint.

Ho. Ho, Ho.

And finally on behalf of the Club Directors and myself. Have a wonderful Christmas Time. We truly appreciate everyone's support in keeping amateur sport alive in Victoria.Especially Rugby. Great things to come in 2022.

Best Wishes
