Last Saturday, after the long trek up island to Cumberland, our Women’s team revisted the pitch where our season started, against a team that beat us in our first game as part of our newly re-formed senior women’s program.
Our ever-improving Premier team lead the UVic Vikings by a score of 16-11 with no time remaining on the clock when the home team scored to steal the win on the last play of the game.
Closing out our final home stand this year, the junior Bears took on the Castaway Wanderers for the third time this season, as our first outing turned out to be an exhibition game because of last minute schedule changes.
