JBAA Annual General Meeting ~ 13 June 2024 ~ 7-9pm

Our Annual General Meeting will be held at the club house on Thursday, 13 June and will start at 7:00 pm.

Lots of things to discuss as we wrap up our 2023/24 business and look ahead to a new year!

We encourage ALL members, and all those interested in joining the club, to come out to the AGM to meet the executive, find out plans for the teams and our building, and sign up to volunteer.

If you cannot attend in person we will be running a video call and you can join using the link below.

Note that the virtual option is a Teams call - you do not need an account, nor should you have to download an app (unless you prefer).

Minis Summer Camps Coming to MacDonald Park This Summer!

We have some good news to share regarding summer camps at Macdonald Park for kids aged 5-14:

We are able to offer two Summer Camps this year:

  1. July 22nd-26th, 9am-1pm  @ Macdonald Park . Price is $90 per child.

  2. Aug 6th-8th, 9am-1pm @ Macdonald Park. Price is $60 per child.

These camps will fill up quickly and we are offering our JBAA families first chance to secure a place!

Esquimalt High School Epilepsy Awareness Rugby 7’s Hosted at JBAA - 12 Apr '24

Where: JBAA, Macdonald Park - 205 Simcoe Victoria, BC

When: Friday, April 12th - 9:30am Kickoff - 3:40pm Finish

Cost: No cost - donations are welcome for bursary fund

Donation info:

  • A scholarship/bursary fund is being created for this event.

  • 50% of the donations collected will be going directly to the BC Epilepsy Society charity.

  • 50% of the donations will be going to a deserving rugby player in the form of a bursary or scholarship to help cover costs associated with:

  Post-secondary tuition expenses for Fall 2024

  Local Club Fees, travel, and accommodation 

  Travel Expenses from participation on BC Rugby Provincial

          or Canada Rugby team events (national or international)

*Donations can be made in cash, or cheque made payable to Esquimalt High School with a note saying it is for “Epilepsy Awareness Bursary Fund” provided to tournament host Eliza Woods and the Esquimalt Rugby Executive.
