On this past Thanksgiving Sunday, Glenn Barlow and his troops headed to the Lomadome for a game of U-17 Rugby.
Meralomas provided a tough match and although JBAA won by several trys, the quality of play and the commitment to the physicality of the game was outstanding by both teams.
Coach Barlow stated that he was very happy with handling and attacking skills but felt tackling would be a skill set to work on in this week’s practice sessions.
Much thanks to the Lomas for the game. And for hosting. An extra shut out to Chris Buie for driving the team bus.
The U-17 boys will face off against their cross town rivals (CW) next Sunday, 1:30, at the Mac as part of Family Bay Day!
